The Vice President, Human Resources will provide vision and leadership of all human resources initiatives in a way that aligns with the strategic goals and culture of the organization. Will lead functions including organization design, succession, talent acquisition, performance management, diversity, compensation and benefits, employee relations and employee development.. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all planning and development of HR strategy in a way that supports the organizations strategic plan
  • Translate strategic plans into HR operational plans and implements
  • Lead culture change and promote the culture by articulating the need for change
  • Provide expertise on best practices
  • Drive integrated talent acquisition, compensation, performance and succession management strategies
  • Provide counsel and coaching to senior leaders around leadership, change management, employee engagement, diversity, recruiting top talent and employee development
  • Guide HRBP team to implement human capital strategies
  • Leads and develops HR team
  • Research and negotiate benefits and total rewards
  • Oversee wellness program
  • Develop performance based compensation programs
  • Design, deliver and evaluate training and development programs for leaders and staff
  • Ensure compliance of all laws and regulations
  • Serve as key member of Senior Leadership Team
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, required, Masters Degree is highly preferred
  • SHRM-SCP, CCP or CEBS/GBA professional designations preferred
  • Ten plus years of progressively responsible leadership experience for all disciplines within Human Resources
  • Ten plus years of significant leadership experience at a strategic level
  • Five plus years of experience in the insurance industry
